Description
These titanium hooks are robust, weigh only 3.4 grams, and hold up to 1000 pounds. They replace the whoopie bead with a hook that will “snap” on to 7/64 and 1/8 Amsteel. Whoopie Hooks will also work with 1/8 Amsteel. They are easy to connect and easy to disconnect but will stay connected until you unhook them. They come sold as the hardware alone and you can splice them on your whoopie sling yourself, or you can purchase these pre-spliced on whoopie slings. Whoopie Hooks create a water break, allowing you to store your wet suspension separately. It is not recommended to use whoopie hooks with anything but 7/64 or 1/8 Amsteel.

These little guys are awesome. Yes, when I first got them I sat very gingerly into the hammock (they are so tiny and I am so big). No need for the ginger sitting, they are little tanks.

Love these little things so much I ordered a second set for the new hammock winging it’s way to me.
Love these little things so much I ordered a second set for the new hammock winging it’s way to me. I use them a little different by splicing them onto the continuous loop on the hammock so I can use whatever suspension I want super quick. I have used them with Dynaglide but regularly inspect for damage since these are meant for 7/64 amsteel. Just get them, there’s lots of great uses.

Don’t let the small size and light weight fool you, these little Whoopie hooks are up to the job. Thoughtful design, ridiculously light weight and nice smooth surfaces. Great customer service, fast shipping and tracking was providing. Thanks Dutch!

both will work but we use the 7/64 most of the time as it can hold 600lbs and has plenty of strength to it. However if you would like to use the heavier amsteel it will work/fit with the hook as well.

Normally they are spliced onto the adjustable end of the whoopie sling and the fixed end will get larks headed onto the hugger. However if you would like the whoopie hook spliced onto the fixed eye end then please leave us a note on your order and we can accommodate you.

Will these work with 1.75mm coated dyneema line?
I was able to splice the line into continuous loops and whoopie slings that work great., but I’d like to add these to the mix.
