Super light weight and worked awesome!

Super light weight and worked awesome! Makes for less guy lines to trip over! They even worked great for my warbonnet ridgerunner bridge hammock even though my tarp pull outs aren’t spaced for a bridge hammock on my cuben fiber tarp. They still gave me just enough room to naturally get in and out of the hammock without worrying about it swinging into the tarp. A+++

  2. calebjmann

will this work as an internal pole mod for the ugq winter dream 12?

    • Carolyn Palmer

These would not work for internal. I would recommend using fiber glass as it will bend better for you.

  3. gojimsimon

Will this fit the Warbonnet Cloudburst?

    • DutchWare Gear

      yes

  4. donstang165

Could I use these to make a porch on the superfly when not using them for the mod? That would be Great!

    • DutchWare Gear

yes they can have the dual purpose and be used for both.

  5. do yin

Does total length of 54.5″ include the tips?

    • DutchWare Gear

Actually with the tips it is 53.5″ in length and I will be updating the website.

  6. Andrew Derbyshire

Could these be used with the two person tarp instead of the internal pole mod?

    • Dave Gantz

No, these will not work as internal pole mods.

  7. Todd Karriker

Is the 4.8oz weight for one or two poles?

    • Dave Gantz

You can choose ‘single’ or ‘double’ then check the shipping weight above the “add to cart” button. This should provide accurate weight of each choice.

  8. hoolio_79

From pole to tie out what cordage is used? Does that come with pole kit? Is it shock cord or paracord? Thanks

  9. tiffany.t.treadwaycurrey

Would these pole mods work on a wide tarp using the side pull-outs?

    • Dave Gantz

      Yes.

If you have a continuous ridgeline, is it better for the poles to go over the ridgeline or under it?

    • Dave Gantz

You can place the poles over the continuous ridgeline.

  11. coronabeach1

Would these work on the bonded winter ultralight xenon tarps?

    • Dave Gantz

Yes! Just be sure to choose the Side Panel Pullouts option with your tarp.

  12. Rylund Lewis (verified owner)

do you sell or can you recommend a storage bag for these poles?

    • Dave Gantz

We don’t sell pole stuff sacks yet, but the individual poles are less than 15 inches long. So a 16 inch- 20 inch long bag should work.

  13. huntbigb

Do these come with a bag or sack? If not, do you sell one?

    • Customer Service (verified owner)

Please contact sales@dutchwaregear.com about this. Thank you.

  14. Braden Lynch

Do you sell “feet” attachments, so one end of these poles can be on the ground and the other is attached to the tarp (i.e. so they can substitute for trekking poles or to make a tarp porch)?

    • Customer Service (verified owner)

We do not. Note, the DAC Spreader Bar poles are probably a better option for a tarp porch. Feel free to email us at Sales@DutchWaregear.com to inquire about a custom set of these for this purpose.

These poles are absolutely fantastic for creating more room under your tarp. My only suggestion would be that you “booger up” the threads on the ends of the poles so the nuts can not come off. True to form, I have lost three of the four nuts. They are still usable by simply tying an overhand knot after making the adjustments. It just irritates me when I lose stuff like that.
