I have continuous loops on the gathered end… what’s the best way to clip on the ridgeline biner?

    • admin

You can just clip it anywhere on the continuous loop.

  2. ThomasJohns

Where are the ridgelines attached to the hammock?

  3. AndyBullock

Are these basically lash it with a locked Brummell on each end?

    • admin

Yes, our structural ridgelines are made from zing-it or lash-it and they have a locked brummell on both ends.

    Does what it says.

    Ridgeline

It’s very light and strong, sets the hammock up perfect

    Solid ridgeline

This ridgeline is a solid piece of kit. It set up my hang well for me with the standard distance set with this. Splicing was solid. Paired with some dutch biners and connects perfectly.

Is the 100″ Fixed Ridgeline (10ft Hammock) made from the Zing it/Lash it cord?

    • DutchWare Gear

Yes, It is gray last it

  8. vickaiser1

So, do I have to untie my ENO end to attach the ridgeline like in the video posted below? Or just wrap it around the knot?

    • DutchWare Gear

you could replace the end of your suspension with continuous loops or maybe use a ridgeline biner to attach your ridgeline to the what you have on the end? Not exactly sure what you may have on the end of your hammock.

What is the diameter of the lash-it used for the 100″ inch ridgeline?

    • Carolyn

It is a 1.75 grey lash it

I’m sorry, I worded the last question wrong, and accidentally said “fixed adjustable ridgeline”. What I meant was, do you offer a fixed structural ridgeline that uses 7/64 Amsteel instead of Lash it?

    • Carolyn

We do not offer this on our site however if you email me at sales@dutchwaregear.com we will work out a price with you.

  11. 555neff

What is the weight capacity for the ridgeline

    • Carolyn

The actual rope itself will have a 200lb breaking strength however it is not made to bear weight besides smaller items that you would hang off of your ridgeline.

  12. aidand553

    • Carolyn

  13. aaron.bupp

Hi there. Is it possible to get he 105″ fixed ridgeline in yellow Reflect It? I’m trying to build a hammock for my daughter and she’s very particular about colours. Thanks!

    – Rob

    • Carolyn

Yes we can do that for you. Please put a note on your order that you would like it made out of the yellow reflect it and we can do that for you.

  15. loughzach

When will you have reflective options available for the 110’s again?

    • Carolyn

In about 2-4 weeks the rope should be back in stock.

  16. harry.chawla

Hi, Is it possible to get a 100′ fixed ridgeline in Reflect It, preferably yellow? Also, do I need a biner for it? I don’t see an option to select 0 for it. Assuming that both ends have locked brummell, I won’t need a biner. Also, I already have plenty of climbing biners and some S-biners. Thanks for being responsive, especially in current times. Hope you guys are staying safe and healthy!

  17. mzmelaniemail

Hi! Will this work with a bug net that has plastic clips that hang on the ridgeline?
