Description
These are special cord locks with the whole part acting like a spring. The C squeezes together and the cord is inserted into the hole. Fits up to 1/8-inch shock cord or 2 1.75 mm cord. I am calling them Darth Vader and 3CPO after the characters they look like.

Yes although it works better with thicker cord.

I bought both the Darth Vader and the c3po to see which I preferred. Definitively the Darth Vader. The other is just too hard for my small hands to use. I’m using them as cord locks for my DIY underquilt. They work great.

It takes 5 lbs of force to close these little critters, even after flexing many times, so:
*Cold hands, very difficult to release.
*Soft cord, such as elastic shock-cord, too much spring force will shear the cord rather than pinch the cord.
Works best in thick, stiff cord.
Very light weight, but really difficult to work with in most situations.
