Description
The Ridgeline Organizer slides freely to where you need it keeping your gear close by and accessible. It has one large open-ended pocket and two front pockets for smaller items. It is made from either Nano Noseeum bug net or ARGON 90. The Ridgeline Organizer can stay attached and get packed away with your hammock so it’s always there when you need it.
Specifications: Weight – 9.5 grams (ARGON 90) 11 grams (Nano Noseeum Bug Net) Long -12.5” High – 9” 2 – 6×6 pockets 1 – One large pocket in the back

For installation, does this drape over the ridgeline or do you detach the ridgeline and thread it through the organizer?
admin –
You have to detach the ridgline and pass it through a channel.

Great little organizerThis is exactly what I needed to keep a few items nearby at night. It’s smaller than I expected, but also lighter. Read the specifications. In any case, I’m very happy with the purchase, and I don’t imagine I’ll ever have a hammock without one.

Will this hold a one litre water bottle?
Carolyn Palmer –
Yes as it will fit a Nalgene bottle in there which holds 1 liter of fluid

I now have 3 of these made from orange argon. One small pocket holds my large smartphone the other my glasses and other small stuff. The large open ended pocket holds my small water bottle and flashlight.

Is it possible to use this organizer if you have a full bug net attached to the ridge line? If so, would it hang outside of the bug net? Thanks for your help!

The ridgeline organizer is made to move up and down your ridgeline as the ridgeline is fed through a channel on the ridgeline organizer. If you have a bugnet connected to the ridgeline I believe that you would lose some of the functionality of the item.

I have a DW continuous ridgeline with the tato tarp connectors. It looks to me like the diameter of the ridgeline organizer isn’t large enough to go around a tato tarp connector. Is that correct? Is the channel large enough to put a dutch hook through it? If the dutch hook will go through the channel, I could snip the tato tarp connectors off and use the prussic knots and put the organizer on over the dutch hook.
Dave Gantz –
The channel is large enough to fit the Dutch Hook and Continuous Ridgeline, but not large enough for the Tato Tarp Connectors.

Anyone have some advice or resources on how to install. I don’t see much on YouTube and I am newer to hammock camping. I would be installing it on the Dutchware halfwit hammock

Disconnect the ridgeline, install the organizer, then reconnect the ridgeline:

How wide is the hole the ridgeline goes through? Would it fit a 1″ wide nylon strap?
Customer Service –
It is not quite 1″ – the largest I can fit through there is some 3/4″ webbing. -Gwendolyn

This would probably be a standard feature on the chameleon, but dutch has a cool policy of not making you purchase things you don’t necessarily need. With that being said, this thing is MUST HAVE. This little guy holds my phone, chapstick, keys, drink, book – anything small you want to grab in the middle of the night and not search for. It’s so convenient I have two now and replaced my peak shelf with one. Peak shelf is great, but I love having the pockets and in a pitch black night I can have anything I want without needing light or searching.
I don’t even like to compare this to the side car/sling as I feel like they serve different functions.

Very cool Jeff! So glad you found something you love to keep your stuff organized while you hang!
