Would I be able to strap this to my chest straps and use it as a quick access chest pack?

You would just have to wear it as a reverse backpack if that would work for you.

  2. dana.e.savage

Would the hook/straps on this allow it to be used in any configuration as a gear net in the top of a tent?

I recently purchased this pack to attach to my backpack and also use on day hikes after setting up base camp. It was a great addition to my pack, as my food didn’t get crunched and I could easily shove my fleece into it when the weather got warm. We did an overnight backpack trip to the Great Sand Dunes last weekend and I also used this pack around camp. Bonus was the mesh material made it easy to shake the sand out quickly. Highly recommend!

What would be really neat to add here is a small plastic clip on the top and bottom such that this could be hung inside the hammock later as a gear sling. Triple-use item… backpack addition, dayback and then loft-storage inside hammock. Any chance that could be added?

Will it be possible to manufacture a smaller version of your Pack Back? I’m in the market for one.
