It will measure a little over 5 feet in length and have sewn end channels that will be compatible with most any hammock suspension system.

The cloud 71 looks amazing, cannot wait to try. Two questions:
1. If I order with no suspension, what are the ends like? I want to use the Spider 1″ straps and a Becket Hitch.
2. How long do you recommend for the two straps to get around a tree and leave room for the Becket?

This design does not print well on our Hexon fabrics, so it is not an option for the Hammock Chair.

Hexon 1.6 w/ continuous loops, whoopies and straps.
Very easy to set up and I felt secure enough to take a nap in it.
I think these can also double as a good kids’ hammock if you found a way to make it flip proof.
Very impressed with this company, wish I’d heard of them sooner, repeat customer already.

“… compatible with most any hammock suspension system.” Compatible with DWG complete titanium buckle, tree straps, and Dutch Clips? If the chair is rigged as Dutch shows in his video, the foot end will be at less than the recommended 30 degree angle.
Is that okay, or should I go with a different suspension system?

Yes that is okay for this chair, it’s all about finding a comfortable balance for yourself whether that is a 30 degree angle or not.

Great gear addition. I thought these chairs were silly at first, but decided to try one out. It takes a little fiddling, like any hammock, to go d the best hang, but it’s pretty fun. weighs very little and I look forward to trying it out on a backpacking trip.

Yes, it is transparent like the Cloud 71 but with a much higher weight rating.

I most recently bought some hammock chairs for my GF and I, but we do not use them as such. Instead, we use them as a gear sling. However, we do not put the sling under our hammocks like most people do. We hang it off the foot end of the structural ridgeling inside the hammock. This gives access gear without having to exit the hammock and it takes up more air space in the hammock, which makes it easier to warm up in colder temps. The biggest advantage this one from Dutch offers is the sewn on storage pocket. The way Dutch has designed this gives 2 quick access pockets, one of which will pull shut. This is perfect for keys, earbuds, and small items while the other is just the right size to put a phone in. I also have a phone holder that lets me watch videos, and the 2nd pocket will hold a water bottle instead, but I like to sleep listening to something and do not want the light shining in my face. So the pocket is perfect for my phone during the night and the water bottle moves to the peak shelf.

I bought this chair along with the full suspension system. I spent a couple of hours experimenting with various tree distances and multiple configurations, I just wasn’t able to (so far) get a comfortable hang. I’m not a fan of the suspension, just too difficult to get it right, IMO. I’m going to take this out again, but try using the suspension straps from another hammock brand to see if that makes a difference. Had I known, I would’ve saved myself 50% and just purchased the chair. If I’m able to get this to work and my opinion changes, I’ll update this review.

I’m sorry to hear you are not happy with the chair. It works best if you setup use trees that are fairly close together. Hang the head end higher and the foot end low. Once you get the right angle and tree spacing it does work very well. If you’re still not satisfied, please email us and let’s see if we can work something out to assist you.

Make sure if you order one don’t forget if you want a different suspension system to add in the continuous loops don’t do what I did lol

Amazingly comfortable. Works with my existing suspension. Pretty forgiving on how you hang it, but may take some trial and error just like any hammock. Love how it packs into the built-in stuff sack. I add a small pillow to prop my head up.
