Great little hooks for securing lines and all to a tarp. With a 30 lbs breaking strength I use them for my guy lines. You may ask why, well I use the Flestake’s and I attach the Metal mitten hooks to the end to clip onto the tarp. I also add some 1/16 shock cord inside the line instead of externally. ( Dutch has a video showing how to do this)

Will 5mm shock cord fit through the hole?

Henrik, it will NOT fit through the hole. I looked through our hardware and found this as the only suggestion which would def work with the 5mm shock cord.
