Description
Hexon 1.6 (now made with Nylon 66) is an incredible hammock fabric that is made exclusively for DutchWare. This fabric is rated for 350 pounds and has one of the best weight ratings for this weight of fabric. It has a special ripstop grid that reduces stretch and adds incredible strength. It also has an incredible feel, soft like cotton and not plastic-like at all. It comes in at 1.6 ounce per sq yard and is 60 inches wide. It comes in Burnt Orange, Coyote Brown, Dark Olive, Olive Green, Black, Brilliant Blue, Purple, Forest Green, Moroccan Blue, Brick Red, Woodland Camo and Charcoal Grey.

that is what we determined over the full width of the hammock not concentrated on one area.

How waterproof would you say this is? If I made it as say a mutiny use bivy/ raised would it keep water off me?

If you buy cut yardage of any of our fabrics it is not sewn on the sides at all.

how many yards would i need to get if i want an 11’ish hammock? I want to make sure i’m doing the math right. if is 60-62″ wide, and i got it 12′ long, would I need to get 8 yards?

Honestly I just opened the package and had to post this review because I’m so impressed. So I haven’t made anything from it yet. But, if first projects go well, I suspect I’ll be buying a roll to make everything out of this stuff.
