Could it be used with 1/8 Amsteel?

I would not recommend it as when I tried to fit it in it was tight and I would be concerned with it snagging the amsteel.

The hook end snaps nicely onto 7/64″ Amsteel. I have these on the tarp end of my guylines. They clip securely onto the Beastee-D rings on my tarp. I’m constantly finding new uses for them.

Is this a fixed hook or can shock cord pull through it? I am waiting to make a cinching system with shock cord and hooks for a bed roll. Thanks

The shock cord is not made to pull through. It will secure it to the ends of the shock cord.
