Description
Dutch Cord is a great, rigid rope made with a UHMWPE core and a Polyethylene terephthalate outer sheath. This rope acts like wire does and can hold its shape and because of the rigidness of the rope it is easy to loosen knots and it does not tangle easily.
*All Specs are estimates and may vary from color to color and batch to batch.
Breaking Strength: 100 pounds
Diameter: 1mm
Weight: 0.33 grams per foot
Note: This does not work well with Dutchware hardware with the exception of Tarpworms and Hooksworms.

Evan Vinson –
What would you recommend this for?
tracing.the.blue.ridge –
The Dacron outer shouldn’t give the cord more stretch, should it? I imagine with a UHMWPE core stretch would be minimal by contrast to nylon, polyester, or even Dacron by itself.
Carolyn –
There really is no stretch with the Dacron outer.

Is 100#s suitable for most guyouts?
Carolyn –
Yes this rope will be great for tarp guy lines.
3sixtyusa –
This 1mm cord looks thicker than the Micro Cord (1.18mm). Is that true?
Dave Gantz –
It should be just a bit thinner than the 1.18mm cord.
geraldevbrown –
Would this slip in mini-cord locks used for stuffsacks?
Dave Gantz –
Yes, this is too thin for the mini-cord locks. We suggest Lash-it, Zing-it, or 3/32 shock cord, or 1/8 shock cord instead.
