Does this come with the full bug net or is that separate? Also is the full weight of everything included in this bundle including suspension totaling the 911.1 grams ?

    • Alex Thomas

This comes with a bugnet that is sewn on one side and zippered on the other. It can be unzipped and rolled up to the opposite side when not needed but it can’t be completely removed. The full weight in grams listed on the product page after you select your options is the weight of the entire package.

  2. roxball

Hi what is the total weight for this package? I am a Backpacker. Every ounce counts.

    • Alex Thomas

The total weight is listed on the product page after you select your options. However, the Hexon 1.0 option is around 32 ounces and the Hexon 1.6 option is around 36 ounces.

In your description, the tarp colors show Charcoal Gray as a choice. However, it is not available to be selected. Is Charcoal Gray still available for the tarp?

As well, is this hammock a “feet left and head right” lay? Or, “feet right and head left” lay? Or possibly both?

    • Carolyn

Currently the charcoal gray is out of stock and once it is in will be available again for purchase. This is a symmetrical hammock so you will be able to switch your lay direction without laying in your hammock the wrong way.

  9. georgerosado00

Are the symmetrical or asymmetrical hammocks ??

    • Carolyn

The half zipped hammock is a symmetrical hammock.

  10. stephensonle

Does this include a top cover?

    • Dave Gantz

      No, it does not.

I ordered this as my first foray into hammock camping. It’s a great set with lots of options despite being a pre-set kit. As I was unfamiliar with suspension systems, the bag full of cords and hardware was a bit intimidating. I spent an hour referencing the kit list, the crib cards (which are awesome!), and a bunch of videos, and by the end I’m relatively confident I can hang out properly. Just have to wait for the ice storms to end to take it out for a test run! I would recommend adding a card for the Mantises. Once you know how they work, they’re really easy, but it’s not intuitive.

    Now to get my CRL!
