These clips work great for clipping onto d-rings, the best option I’ve found. I use them as quilt hooks on my netted hammock and instead of attaching my tarp to the continuous ridgeline with a carabiner I leave this clip on the d-ring and hook it to a prusiked continuous loop on the ridgeline.
