Are these as flexible as the seat belt 2′ straps or are they like the standard 2′ straps just orange?

They are polyester and will act like the standard 2″ straps and not the seat belt straps.

Possible to put a marlinspike hitch into these? If no, what’s the recommended method for attaching whoopie slings to these thicker straps?

I’m sure it’s possible with a large toggle. Otherwise, i’d recommend larkheading your whoopie sling to the hugger and using a whoopie hook or small (weight bearing) carabiner like our Dutch Biner to attach to a continuous loop on your hammock.
