Description
Do you like to lay head right and feet left? Maybe sometimes head left and feet right? Well now you don’t have to decide and can freely switch directions in the middle of the night to suit your comfort. With the symmetrical bugnet it will give you the freedom to lay in the direction of your choice without having to remove your bugnet in order to adjust the lay direction. It will still provide all of the comfort and safety from those pesky bugs and it will include convenient easy to grab sausage pulls on all eight zipper tabs. The tie outs on either side will connect to the inner D-rings and pull out from the center on either side of the hammock to allow a nice flat lay in the direction of your choice.

On your product page it says 4 zipper pulls but in the description tab it says 8 zipper pulls. Does it have 4 or 8? Do you need 8 zipper pulls?
Carolyn Palmer –
It is a total of 8. The page will be updated.

How strong is this netting material?
jakeswift –
I have one of your 11 ft. netless hammocks from about two years ago.
Would this net be compatible?
DutchWare Gear –
No, it is only made for the chameleon and you should look into the bottom entry bug net.
Adam Madge –
Will this fit the wide body hammock?
DutchWare Gear (verified owner) –
Yes, all of our tops and bugnets for the chameleon fit both the wide and regular.
Justin Saling –
Do you have a recommendation for tying back the chameleon bugnet for when it’s not in use?
Carolyn (verified owner) –
I do not have a recommendation for this as we have not experimented with it at all. We do have the half zipped hammock that is designed to be tied back however that has a sewn on side and functions differently.
Josh Ray –
Are there any disadvantages to using the symmetrical bugnet over the asym one? For example, does it constrict the diagonal lay any or cause the cover to droop?
viclyn13 –
Does the bug net come with a ridge line?
Alex Thomas –
This bugnet is designed for the Chameleon hammock which should already have a ridgeline attached. The bugnet itself does not ship with an additional ridgeline.
